My wife is carrying and she is in her second trimester now. I noticed some changes in her lifestyle during the first trimester.
- She is a vegetarian, but she started saying that she wants to eat non-vegetarian food, especially chicken.
- She never liked more spicy food, but she started eating more spicy food
- She started to stretch herself in the bed
All the above are actually my characteristics. I really don't know how she changed like this.
I just have a thought - when a fetus inherits the characteristics from the parents, why can't the mother who carries the fetus/baby for 9 months inherit the characteristics of the fetus? i.e. indirectly the characteristics of the father?
I googled and tried to confirm this...But could not find any information in the internet except this article
This article clearly says - Mothers undergo permanent changes during pregnancy, in which they “inherit” some characteristics of the child they carry and, through the child, also receive some characteristics of the father.
Any ideas??
