First I've tried to download it using Opera browser. I was thinking that Opera's transfer is very good. But it got stuck in the middle of the downloading 79MB file. Then i had to switch to Firefox to download it.
Today I had gone through the documents. Document is very good. I got a clear picture about the Anatomy about Android. It gives a good idea to start writing applications for Android.
After this i was playing with the Android emulator. It is simply great. I was going through the APIs demo. It supports wide varieties. Someone who has some idea can easily create their applications. Few problems are it didn't not support direct call to real phone, bluetooth etc. I think OpenMoko's emulator supports most of the hardware features also. That was really great.
Now the world is realising the need for the mobile platform and the business opportunities. But I feel proud that I've worked on this concept about eight years back. I was involved in developing the complete win32 emulation layer for a leading RTOS. It was very fun to support 256 priority levels using the available limited number of priority levels in Windows. And great fun to take control of Windows scheduler to implement the RTOS emulator. And fun to watch multiple RTOS instances running on the Windows NT system. But the sad part is that now both the RTOS and the mobile manufacturer are not in the market.

Now, I am using my Nokia 6630 and feel very much happy with it. When i get bored exploring this I might switch to Android based phone. It looks like the first Android based phone will be released in September by Samsung.
