Yesterday I had a chance to attend the talk about "Next Generation Web". It was really good to know about the future of web - web 2.0, web 3.0, semantic web etc. I was thinking that it would be good to record the entire session in an audio format.
Later i was thinking about navigating the audio file, if the audio file's duration is for more than three hours it will be difficult to seek the interesting portion of the audio. The traditional way
of seeking like forward and backward may not be user friendly to the user. If i remember some
key word in the audio file, can i use this to seek to the place where this is discussed.
For example, in text reader (like browser, notepad) we use scroll bar to navigate to the page.
This is similar to using forward and backward in the audioplayer. In text reader, we use find to
reach the exact location the interested portion of text. it would be good if this feature is available
in the audioplayer also? don't you think so? i don't know whether it is available or not.
Let me spend some time to find it..

Follow up -
yesterday we were discussing about the audio search and the topic moved to video search. ie. search for a specific image (for example, face of a person and navigate to that scene).
Today there was a news about "Google Google" from Times Of India. This is similar to search in video. It can search missing items. Check this link - http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Google_goggle_can_find_missing_keys/articleshow/2863332.cms
